As Highlands Ranch nears build-out, construction is in full swing this summer at Town Center East, near the intersection of Lucent and Highlands Ranch Parkway.
And while some businesses, such as Buffalo Wild Wings and Sprint, have signs up to announce their arrivals into the community, others remain a mystery to residents.
According to Douglas County planner Kati Rider, in addition to those two businesses, the county has also reviewed and is aware of a second H2O Car Wash, Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, Starbucks, Freddie’s Frozen Custard, and a Les Schwab Tire that are all currently being built at the quickly-expanding development near Target.
Plans have not been disclosed for the remainder of the land in that vicinity, which is expected to be built in phases over the next couple years.
John Kilrow, senior vice president of Shea Properties Colorado did not return emails or phone calls from the Herald to discuss the timeline of the current construction or the remaining available land.
