Safe2Tell provides safe way to report emergencies

Posted

The Adams 12 Five Star community joins others in extending our thoughts and sympathies to the community of Arapahoe High School. As a reminder, Safe2Tell® provides a safe, easy way to report information about anything that is a concern to school or community safety. To anonymously report a safety concern please call 1-877-542-SAFE (1-877-542-7233) or go online to www.safe2tell.org. Both state law and the procedures established by Safe2Tell® guarantee the anonymity of every caller. Calls are answered at a Colorado State Patrol communication center. When action is needed, information is immediately forwarded to local school officials and law enforcement agencies, as appropriate. Safe2Tell® then goes the extra step by following up with the school and law enforcement agencies which received the report to ensure that it was investigated, that action was taken and that the outcome was tracked.

Sign up for text alerts

The Adams 12 Five Star School District would like to remind parents and guardians to sign up for Adams 12 Five Star Schools’ text alert service that enhances existing communication channels by allowing the Five Star District to deliver important information such as school closures, snow days, canceled activities or other school-related activities to you via text messaging. To opt in, simply text “yes” to 68453. Once opted in successfully a confirmation text will be sent. The district anticipates text alert subscribers to receive approximately three alerts each month. Please note, although the district doesn’t charge for this service, standard text messaging/data rates may apply according to your plan.
