Not so neighborly thief

A Highlands Ranch man who lives on the 10100 block of Astorbrook Lane arrived home at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 where he found an 8-inch by 10-inch bubble-wrapped package on his doorstep that, according to UPS online tracking, arrived at 1 p.m.

When he picked it up, he noticed the package had been cut with a knife and the contents of the delivery — four TSA luggage locks he had paid $60 for — were missing. The receipt for the order was still in the package but that was it. There are no suspects.

Bike ripped off from patio

A blue women’s Trek bicycle valued at $800 was stolen from a Highlands Ranch apartment patio on the 6600 block of Green River Drive sometime during the afternoon or early evening on Nov. 23. The bike was not locked but did have a chain bike lock placed around the frame to give an outside appearance it was.
