Beginning in the fall of 2012, ACC will offer an Associate of Applied Science in Contemporary Journalism, as well as an option to earn one of three certificates, including Writing and Reporting, Advertising and Marketing and Multimedia. Students enrolling in the Contemporary Journalism program will receive training in designing, writing, editing and producing print and online publications, and will combine traditional journalism skills in writing and editing with digital skills to become proficient in producing both hard-copy and electronic publications.
In 2011, ACC's Automotive Technology program was nationally recognized as the "School of the Year" by Tomorrow's Technician magazine. Our program is accredited by NATEF and students are prepared for the ASE certification examinations upon graduation. Even more, ACC provides intensive training in hybrid technology repair and hybrid conversion.
Arapahoe Community College offers year-round classes, community education courses and concurrent enrollment for high school students, as well as job placement assistance for students and workforce training programs.
