Council to consider master plan

The town has developed its first transportation master plan — the Parker Transportation Master Plan. The TMP will serve as the town's long-range plan for travel and mobility. As a policy and planning document, the plan will provide town council and staff with guidance regarding future transportation planning decisions, development and capital projects in Parker.

The town has received input from residents through surveys, workshops and open houses over the last year. The community input was used to draft the plan that is now ready to be considered by the Parker Planning Commission and Parker Town Council. Public hearing dates have been scheduled for planning commission consideration at 7 p.m. June 12, and for town council at 7 p.m. June 16.

The plan will support town council in achieving its goals and objectives for Parker to be a destination community where people come to live, work, shop and play by ensuring that it has a comprehensive and integrated transportation system that continues to serve the multi-modal needs of our citizens and visitors.
