Bratton’s claims refuted

In a letter to the Courier editor, former mayor Dick Bratton claims that Rob McArthur, director of public works in Green Mountain Falls, illegally inflated coasts for overtime and gasoline during the Waldo Canyon fire in June 2011.

However, Bratton did not include the information that McArthur had been cleared of any infractions.

In a grievance letter written June 18 by former marshal Tim Bradley and first released on Facebook by Mayor Lorrie Worthey, Bradley talks about the issue of the allegations against McArthur.

Bradley writes:

Soon after the seven-page letter was released on Facebook, Bradley resigned after being offered a $12,000 severance package.
