‘Bike The Night’ following the Stage 5 start

Event takes place Aug. 22 in Woodland Park

The inaugural “Bike the Night” – a 13-mile loop around and through Woodland Park – is easy enough for the whole family to enjoy. The ride will start at 10:30 p.m. following the Stage 5 start of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge on Aug. 22. There will be a free pancake breakfast at the Woodland Park Senior Center at midnight for all registered riders

Woodland Park is hosting Stage 5 of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge on Aug. 22. The elite race will take riders from Woodland Park to Breckenridge beginning around 11:30 a.m.

But the day’s events will not end until well after midnight.

Starting at 10:30 p.m. after the Pro Challenge concert, a fun filled family ride will be the icing on the cake.

Starting at 9 p.m., registration will open for the first inaugural “Bike the Night.” This 13-mile loop around and through Woodland Park is easy enough for the whole family to enjoy.

Organizers ask that children be at least 8 years old and able to ride, and must be accompanied by an adult.

The ride will go until midnight. There will be a free pancake breakfast at the Woodland Park Senior Center at midnight for all registered riders.
