From their humble introduction in the U.S. in 1950, to their out-selling the iconic record holding Model T in 1972, it seems everyone has owned a Volkswagen Beetle. With over 21 million produced it wasn’t hard not to have owned one.

Re-experience VW’s pioneering air-cooled vehicles, February 1st thru April 30th at the Forney Museum of Transportation. Come see not just Bugs of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s but also, Buses, Karmann Ghias, and much, much more.

The Volkswagen Exhibit runs from February 1st to April 30th , 2014.

Home of the Union Pacific Big Boy, “One of the Largest Steam Trains Ever Built.”

The Forney Museum is also home to Amelia Earhart’s 1923 Kissel Goldbug, “The Yellow Peril”.

The Forney Museum is open Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday.

Admission is $9 for Adults, $7 for Seniors, and $5 for Children. (Children under 3 are free!)
