Set against the steamy backdrop of New Orleans’ gritty French Quarter, Tennessee Williams’ 1947 Pulitzer Prize–winning drama tells the story of Blanche Dubois, a faded Southern belle driven to madness by her animalistic brother-in-law, Stanley Kowalski. Taking refuge from her crumbling past, the fragile yet determined Blanche arrives unexpectedly at her married sister Stella’s doorstep, hoping for a better life and restoration of her senses.

Reprising their 2008 roles is Haley Johnson as Blanche, Kurt Brighton as Stanley and Patrick Collins returns as Mitch. Kelly Uhlenhopp steps into the role of Stella and the cast rounds out with Loren Cogswell (Steve), Darcy Kennedy (Eunice), Brad Wagner (Pablo), Jake Gallegos (Doctor), Ben Griffin (Young Collector), Madison Kuegler (Nurse), Kathy Baerns (Mexican Woman) and Bevin Antea (U/S Eunice and Nurse).

Tennessee Williams won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for “A Streetcar Named Desire” in 1948 and for “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” in 1955. In addition, “The Glass Menagerie” (1945) and “The Night of the Iguana” (1961) received New York Drama Critics' Circle Awards. His 1952 play “The Rose Tattoo” (dedicated to his lover, Frank Merlo), received the Tony Award for best play.
