Accomplishing 4 wins and 1 loss is no easy task in the extremely competitive State of Colorado. While much of their success comes from coaching style, teachability, and unity; the team carries some powerhouse talent. The team is fairly young and will yield some long-term returns in the years to come. They will be saying goodbye to Seniors Jake Holtzmann who is known for his performance in the 50 and 100 freestyle events and Luke Veltrie in his free and fly events. The remaining state swimmers will carry on the competition for years to come. Juniors , Max Grogan, Nick Meitz and Luke Rast will surely continue performing in their free, back, IM and leading on relay events. Sophomores John Nelson, Vince Palma, and Phillip Emmette are starting to help carry the torch as they near state times. It would be wise to keep an eye on the Freshmen state swimmers who are not going away any time soon and will lead this team very shortly. Blake Wilton, Landon Rast, and Connor Johnson are contributing to the relays and all events for this Co-op team. Word has it there will be more swimmers coming through the ranks into the Co-op in years to come. more
